Your drawings from this period remind me of the work of Gary Lund, who helped out Fred Wolf on his feature, THE POINT. Lund, in those days, was not as enthusiastic as you were in romantic portrayals. He, of course, is an American.

Oh, no..The Americans of that period were very enthusiastic!..Don't you remember how enthusiastic they were fighting in Vietnam, invading Santo Domingo, having a nuclear stand off with Russia about missiles in Cuba, beating the fuck out of the people asking for civil rights in the south, Etc?
